Specialized Fire Protection
Westcor has formed a strategic alliance with Thermal Designs to provide solutions for customers with unique fireproofing requirements. Using Thermal Designs’ 3M Interam E-Mat, we have fireproofed electrical cable trays, valve assemblies and valve actuators.

Marine
The insulation and fireproofing applications required for the marine industry present exceptional challenges. Westcor carries an inventory of Department of Transport approved structural fire insulation for A-60 and A-30 bulkhead and deckhead applications.
In addition to the structural fire insulations, Westcor supplies and installs a number of highly specialized products including:
- JOSCO lightweight fire rated panel systems
- Soft or hard-core linings
- Floating floors

Hazardous Material Abatement
As owners expand existing and aging plants to modernize, accommodate new technologies or upgrade production, there is always the risk of encountering hazardous materials. In these situations consideration must be given to the proper handling of hazardous materials. The abatement of hazardous materials, such as asbestos, must be done properly and in accordance with all appropriate regulations. Our experienced supervisory personnel and specially trained technicians focus on completing your project properly, on budget and on time.
Hazardous materials such as asbestos can be encountered suddenly, allowing little or no time for planning. To avoid downtime, Westcor is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to handle your environmentally sensitive project. We specialize in Hazardous Materials Abatement.

With a combined shop capacity of over 20,000 square feet, including two bays with over 17 tons of lifting capacity and module yard of 5.1 acres, Westcor Services Ltd. can handle major shop fireproofing projects. Our new facility is conveniently located near major transportation routes enabling our shop fireproofing to be both economical and efficient.
